ae86 are a lot of fun currently owning 4 (1 x 1986 truneo, 3 x 1984 and 1983 levins) with a bit of money injected into these little cars they are some of the most fun you can have. much more fun then my jza80 in hills any day

AE86- I have owned mine since new (May 1985). I bought it at Kendall Toyota in Miami, FL, but it has lived in the dry climate of the southwest (New Mexico) and been garaged most of its life. I am very pleased with it. Have had too much work on it to mention here, but let’s say hardly a month goes by without a nice comment from a motorist, pedestrian, or a note from an interested buyer under the windshield. It is silver and black just as the in “Initial D” AE86 drifting
JapAnimation video. I have had mine at 128mph (Raton Pass, between NM and Colorado) though not recently (New Mexico has become “America’s Speedtrap”, especially Albuquerque!) I get mostly between 25-27 mpg in the city, and around 33+ on the highway, especially during the cooler weather. I am extremely pleased with the little car’s performance, economy, ease of maintenance, and the admiring/lustful glances of the younger crowd )
